Sayre Eagle Family,

Due to an increase in COVID 19 cases and exposure, Sayre Public Schools (grades Pre-K through 12) will transition to our distance learning format beginning Monday, November 16th, continuing through Friday, November 20th. We will return to traditional face-to-face instruction on Monday, November 30th, following Thanksgiving Break.  This change will not affect students who attend Western Technology Center and SWOSU concurrent classes. Students at these sites will attend their face to face courses.  Transportation to Western Technology Center will continue as usual for vo-tech students.

Student meal service will be provided by drive-through pick up from 10:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday next week.  All meals are free of charge to students.

This was a difficult decision to make. We understand the hardship that it places on families. However, we feel that providing a two-week reset enhances our chances of maintaining in-person instruction long-term. Principals will post information concerning the distance learning schedule soon.

Sincerely,

Danny Crabb

Superintendent
