Basketball Spectator Protocols 2020-21

Eagle family,

This year, indoor sports and activities create a unique health challenge as schools enter the winter season. We hope that a few temporary inconveniences for all of us will allow our kids to participate in the activities they enjoy with minimal disruption and controversy.

With basketball season just around the corner, all area schools are preparing temporary protocols with spectator requirements varying from place to place. Please join the Sayre Eagle family in respecting the protocols and requirements for spectators and guests at all venues throughout the season.

For home games, Sayre Schools asks spectators to follow the protocols listed below:

  • Do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms, including fever, cough, or other cold-like symptoms.

  • Do not attend if you are awaiting COVID-19 test results.

  • Patrons in high-risk categories are encouraged to utilize the live stream option (www.sayre.k12.ok.us) and watch games from home when available.

  • Face coverings are recommended.

  • Please use the hand sanitizer stations when entering doorways.

  • Sit in household groupings and distance as much as possible from others in attendance.

  • Two sections on each side of the gym are roped off (every other row) to provide added space for distancing. Please keep a minimum of one empty seat between household groupings in these sections.

  • Keep the lobby clear by not congregating. Please return to your seats after visiting the concession stand or restrooms.

  • Lobby windows are reserved as handicap viewing space.

  • Do not congregate in the lobby or on the gym floor after games.

**This list of protocols is subject to change.

Thank you for your cooperation and support of our kids!
